Promptr is an offline teleprompter app. All scripts you open stay on your device. We do not collect, share, or transmit personal data.

2 · Data we do not collect

No account or sign-in data
No analytics, advertising, or usage tracking
No contact, location, or device identifiers

3 · Permissions explained

Permission	Purpose
`READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE` (via Storage Access Framework)	Lets you choose a `.txt`, `.pdf`, or `.docx` script from your device. Access is limited to the single file you pick.
Screen-on flag	Keeps the screen awake while the script scrolls, so it won’t dim during filming.

4 · File handling

Your script is read locally, converted to plain text, and displayed. Promptr never uploads or syncs your files.

5 · Data sharing

We share nothing with third parties. There are no servers.

6 · Security

All processing occurs on-device; no network calls are made. If you uninstall Promptr, all saved script references are removed from the app’s private storage.

Any future updates will appear on this page and inside the app’s “About” section.
